Companion Podcast "The Salt Lyck" Launches on Spotify

I chose the name "Salt Lyck" for the companion podcast to our organic skincare line Cosmic Tonics, which is minerally based upon the Zodiac, for two reasons.

Common knowledge understands a salt lick as a brick of minerals given to animals in order for them to attain mineral sufficiency, which I love as it brings to mind play-filled days in nature on my family's ranch. The big red barn had salt licks set around it for the cattle and we would watch with delight their huge pink tongues lick up the minerals.

From my research I learned that, historically, salt licks consisted of mineral veins in the earth

that animals would lick not only for mineral content, but as a natural compass leading them to large bodies of water, oftentimes the ocean. Humans discovered these mineral paths and built roads upon them; cities and civilizations were then built upon these roads...which led to the ocean for trade and travel...for connecting with other humans.

I love this metaphor because minerals are such a prime ingredient in Cosmic Tonics. I always tell my clients, there's nothing genius about the creation of Cosmic Tonics, for we are made of stardust and

all I'm doing is handing this back to them; in homage of a remembrance, hence why the serum is

formally named it "The Remembering".
